Women in Media – Elisa Camahort Page
For any women out there who are serious about blogging, the name Elisa Camahort Page is of great importance. Allow me to explain: Elisa is the cofounder of Blogher, one of the largest community of female bloggers and writers not only on the web, but the world. She is an extremely inspiring woman and very powerful. Even though she is a more mature woman she is far more tech savvy than most people of a younger generation. She worked extremely hard to get where she is today. I was fortunate to have an audience with her and ask her about her life and how she got to where she is today.
Elisa is currently resided in San Jose, California and is a happily married woman. She spends a lot of time working and by a lot I mean just that; she gets up at six or six thirty in the morning and starts working. After a few hours of working from home, she continues to go to her office and work until about six in the evening; in other words that is about a twelve hour day she has for her working routine! That shows something unique about her: she is a very persistent human and most people would not be able to do what she does. It’s no wonder that Elisa Camahort Page is where she is today.
She never thought that she would be where she was. Elisa originally wanted to become an actress or a singer. It is funny how fate works when we think of it. She wanted to be a professional actress but ended up in a completely different field. Blogher however has done something for her which being a successful actress or singer would have done; she has become very famous to women everywhere. She is now considered one of the top figures for online media today along with the other co-founders of Blogher. It just goes to show you that no one really ever can tell what is going to happen in our lives.
As a fellow woman, I felt honored to get a chance to meet and talk to Elisa Camahort Page and learn about the extraordinary life which she has led. In media, she is ranked among the top ten most influential women and it is no wonder why she is after having the chance to interview her. She is a hard working woman and she is a fantastic writer; not many in our generation can ever compare to her.
