GIZ – SDR Somali Project would like to invite all interested bidders who are eligible to participate in this public bid, are herewith requested to submit their proposals for “the provision of a security guard and cleaning services for GIZ Regional Project Office in Jigjiga”.

Interested bidders who fulfill the following criteria can request the bid document via an email address pcc@giz.de starting from Monday, 30th of March 2020, 8:30 am.

Required Qualifications:

Security Guard/Gunman:

Minimum 21 years of age and not exceeding 50 years of age.
The service provider shall ensure that the security personnel deployed (who are Ex-service provider shall ensure that the security personnel deployed (who are Ex-servicemen/Ex-paramilitary/EX-Armed forces) are healthy. The deployed personnel shall have minimum qualification of matriculation to be able to read & write Somali and English language.
The service provider will get the antecedents, character and conduct individual security personnel verified by respective local police before deployment and shall produce the same.
The security guards must be trained in all facets of security work including firefighting. Necessary documents in this regard are to be submitted at the time of deployment.

Cleaner/Messenger

Certificate from at least secondary school (10th or 12th)
Good spoken and written English, Amharic and Very good Somali language skills
At least 1 years’ experience in cleaner messenger and / or office assistant position
Good self-organizational skill
Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural and international team, etc..
All must be delivered/submitted physically to the address below at or before 4:00pm local time on Monday, 13th of April 2020.
