The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI), Integrated Agro Industrial Parks- Support Project(AIP-SP) Wants To Procure 2 Hard Top Station Wagons & 8 Double Cabin Pick-up Vehicles Through the Open Competitive Bidding Mefhod.


The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI). Integrated Agro-Industrial Parks- Support Project(AIP-SP) wants to procure 2 Hard Top station wagons & 8 double cabin pick-up vehicles through the Open Competitive Bidding method. These 10 vehicles will be procured free of customs duties and faxes by the grant received from the African Development Fund. 

This bid will be floated for the 2nd time from September 30th to October 29, 2020. 

Hence, those prospective candidates having renewed Trade License, Business Registration Certificate, Tax Payer’s Registration Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, and recent Tax Clearance Certificate are invited to participate in the bid. 

The candidates can send the scan copies of these documents as 1 PDF file via and  and receive the soft copy of the bid document free of charge promptly. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the candidates should not physically come to the office of Moti to receive the bid document. 

The bid security amounting ETB 50,000 is required; and it should be issued in the form of CPO or bid bond in favor of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. 

The bidders should seal and stamp the technical and financial proposals in 2 envelopes separately; write the bid reference No. IAIP-SP/01/2020 on the outer covers of each envelope, and submit that in a bid box at the 5th floor, room # 513, IAIP-SP, MOTI office, 100 meters behind Tourist Hotel, 4-kilo area, Addis Ababa, Electronic submission of bid proposals is strictly prohibited. 

The deadline for submission of the bid proposals is at 11:30 AM on the morning on October 30th, 2020.
