2. The Dire Dawa Administration Education Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Upgrading (i.e. Construction) of G+1 Building to G+3 Building (Lot-2) (Location: Medhanealem Primary & Secondary School, Kefira, in front of Tesfaye Meda, Dire Duwa).

3. Intended Completion Date for the whole of the Works shall be 365 calendar days.

4. Bidding will be conducted through open local tendering procedure contained in the public proclamation of FDRE and is open to all Eligible bidders.

5.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Dire Dawa Administration Education Bureau and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below 7.30-12.00 AM & 2:00 – 5:30 PM working hours.

6. Qualifications requirements include Contractors of category GC-8 & above with license valid for the year 2012 E.C. Work Experience is Required.

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders an on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500 in Cash.

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below al or before 9:00 AM On The 22 Date from The Date Of Announcement Late bids will be rejected.

9. Bids Will Be Opened In The Presence Of Bidder’s Representatives Who Choose To Attend At The Same Date or Submission At 9:30 AM

10. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 70,000 (Seventy Thousand Ethiopian Birr Only) in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO, The Bid Security shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid.

11. The public body reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders
