TechnoServe (INS) is a nonpolitical, not for profit. nonsectarian international NGO that helps entrepreneurial men and women in poor areas of the developing world to build businesses that create income, opportunity and economic growth for their families, their communities and their countries. Currently. TNS is implementing LI-WAY (Livelihood Improvement for Women and Youth) program was designed in alignment with and directly contributing to the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency’s (Sida’s) development cooperation strategy for Ethiopia, giving focus within urban employment on creating better approach and opportunities to enable 200,000 poor people to improve their livelihoods and living conditions, primarily poor women and youth (aged 15-35) in Addis Ababa.

Growth sector time identified the challenges for recycled waste paper for inputs of the paper manufacturing companies, the problem has been started from collection to paper recycling companies. Overcoming this challenges, we acknowledged the possible solution intervention idea for domestically produced input which is called” recycled waste paper”. Addis Ababa solid waste management agency is one partner to implementing the project intervention. The intervention should support 1250 new employees who are engaged in waste paper collection. TNS LI-WAY need to purchase 115 containers to provide our target group (waste paper collectors).

Application Procedures and Deadline

Interested applicants can collect TOR from TNS, and may submit their technical and financial proposals in a sealed envelope along with their company profile on or before Monday January 22 2021 at 4:00PM to the organization addressed:

Envelopes for Technical Proposals received will be opened at 04:00 PM. on January 25, 2021 in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Envelopes for Financial Proposals will not be opened until after evaluation of the Technical Proposals.

Selection will be on the basis of “best-value.” TNS Ethiopia reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids and to waive irregularities.
