SOS Sahel Ethiopia Looking for Licensed Supplier Who Has Good Reputation To Offer Young Female Goats for Breeding


SOS Sahel Ethiopia jointly with Ayuda en Accion and WISE are implementing a project called “Promote Resilient Environments and Livelihoods of Most Vulnerable FamiliesthroughtheReductionofFood Insecurity, Migration,& Youth Unemployment (LIVE) in Arsi, Oromia” in Tena, Amigna and Arsi Robe woredas of Arsi Zone with funding support obtained from Spanish International Cooperation for Development (AECID). 

SOS Sahel Ethiopia as one of the implementers is responsible to provide young female goats for breeding as an Asset building support for 200 vulnerable women household in Tenna and Amigna Woredas. Thus, the organization is looking for a licensed supplier who has a good reputation to offer the required quantities of female goats detailed hereunder:

  1.  Bid document detailing specifications of the goats shall be obtained from SOS Sahel Ethiopia, Head Office in Addis Ababa (Tel. 0114 16 03.91) or Arsi Robe Field Office (+251913050743) during office hours against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00. 
  2. Bidder shall submit their price offer in one original and one copy in a sealed envelope until June 01/2020, 2:00. PM to SOS Sahel Ethiopia Head office in Addis Ababa. 
  3. Renewed license for the year 2012 (E.C.), registration certificate, and evidence of previous good performances (if any) from relevant government offices or other reputable organizations shall be presented together with the bid price.
  4. The Breeding female Goats shall be delivered to specific destinations mentioned in the above table.
  5. The bids will be opened on the above-mentioned date (June 01/2020) at 2:30 PM in presence of bidders or their legal representative at SOS Sahel Ethiopia Head office, Addis Ababa.
