for Economic Empowerment for Poor Women In MIESO OF 


Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international relief and development agency that was established in Birmingham, UK in 1984. Islamic Relief (IR) began a relief work in Ethiopia in 2000 in response to the severe drought that plagued great parts of the Somali region. Four years after first started working in the country, IR officially opened office in the country in 2004. Since 2004, Islamic Relief (IR) has been operational in Ethiopia delivering humanitarian assistance and implementing development interventions. Working with the local communities and government, IR managed to reach millions of vulnerable communities in remote pastoralist areas and the very urban poor. 

In view of this, IRE has received fund to strengthen the efforts of improving economic security and resilience of poor women and girls in Mieso district of West Harage of Oromia Region. 

Now IRE wants to undertake baseline survey to generate statistically valid 

information and establish benchmarks that will serve as the basis for comparison with the same type of information to be collected during the final evaluation Accordingly IRE invites competent consulting firm/ freelance consultant, who have relevant experience to undertake baseline survey of a project. 

Therefore, interested individuals/firm can collect the detailed TOR from IR Country Office located beside roundabout Gorgorios, Wello Sefer, Ethio-China Road. Please submit technical and financial proposals in PDF separately through on May 28, 2020 from 10:0 AM – 11:00 AM. Failure to follow the timeline will result in disqualification of proposals.
