IRR-Ethiopia Seek To Procure the Services of Individual Consultants / Consultancy Firms To Conduct Project Baseline Study,Community Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) Assessment on Their Entitlement and Responsibilities Related To the Extractive Industries and Community Capacity Needs Assessment


With financial support from the European Union, Civil Society Fund Phase III (CSF III), Girja Integrated Rural Development Association (GÄ°RDA) and International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IRR-Ethiopia) are implementing a project titled “Facilitating Environmental and Human Health Accountability Exercise in the Extractive Industries in Guji Zone”. The project is being implemented in Odo-Shakiso, Saba-Boru, Aga-Wayu, Adola-Rede, Ana-Sora and Girja districts and Oddo-Shakiso and Adola-Wayuu towns, Guji Zone, Oromia Regional State for 36 months since February 2020.

GIRDA (the lead) and IRR-Ethiopia seek to procure the services of individual consultants / consultancy firms to conduct

  • 1) Project baseline study,
  • 2) Community Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) Assessment on their entitlement and responsibilities related to the extractive industries and
  • 3) Community Capacity Needs Assessment on participatory project cycle management on service delivery in human and environmental health issues. Qualified and interested individual consultant’s / consultancy firms with relevant qualification to the fields are invited to refer the Term of References (ToRs) for the three assignments to be sent upon a request and shall prepare and submit your proposals to the same.
