 GIZ eTex II would like to invite all interested bidders who are eligible to participate in this public bid, are herewith requested to submit their proposals for Sludge standard development for municipal and industrial sector in Ethiopia to enhance the capacity of the Environment, Forest, and Climate change commission towards the implementation of sludge management guideline.

Interested bidders who fulfill the following criteria can obtain the bid document from the office specified below starting from Thursday, 01 October 2020. 10:00 am on working hours or can request the document in person or via an email address: pcc@giz.de

1.1.1. General qualification Expert 1:

• The lead consultant should have a master’s degree or Ph.D. by Environmental Engineering Environmental Science, Water, and wastewater treatment Environmental law. Natural Science and another related field of study
• Minimum ten years of research experience in the areas of the environmental field and waste and chemical management with a focus on industrial and municipal sludge management

1.1.2. Experience in the region/knowledge of the country

• Minimum five years working experience in the development of Environmental and hazardous waste management standards and policies
• Profound experience in strategy guideline development and knowledge of the Ethiopian environmental laws, policies and strategies

1.1.3. Language skills, business fluency in English

1.1.4. General qualification Expert 2:

• Supporting expert which have of list master’s degree preferably in Natural Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Water and wastewater treatment, Waste Management, or any other related field of study

• Minimum four years research experience in the areas of environmental Field, waste and chemical waste management

1.1.5. Experience in the region/knowledge of the country

1.1.6. Minimum two years working experience in the development of Environment or and hazardous waste management standards and policies

• Profound knowledge of the Ethiopian environmental laws,policies and strategies

1.1.7. Language skills: business fluency in English

All bids must be delivered/submitted physically lo the address below before 4:00pm local time on Friday 16^th  of October 2020.

Bidders should submit their Technical and Financial Proposals as per the issued tender document
