AMENDMENT TO NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
This advertisement is to notify an amendment of the Notice of Invitation for Bids for the Construction Works of Mehal Meda – Gishe Rabel – Mekoy – Mila Mille Road Project,
Lot 1: Mehal Meda – Tor Mesaya (Re-Bid) that has been published on the previous issues of the Ethiopian Herald Newspaper, dated April 16, 2020, and April 17, 2020
The Amendment is the following:
– In Item No.4 under table 4.1 of the Notice of Invitation for Bid, the minimum Specific Construction Experience, Annual Construction Turnover, and Liquid asset/Cash Flow Criteria for the above project are amended as follows:

A Minimum of One(1) any type of Asphalt (DBST/TST/AC) road construction/ upgrading or rehabilitation project with a value of at least ETB 1.324 Billion; OR A Minimum of Two (2) any type of Asphalt (DBST/TST/AC) road construction or upgrading or rehabilitation project each with a value of at least ETB 662 Million; OR A Minimum of Three (3) any type of Asphalt (DBST/TST/AC) road construction or upgrading or rehabilitation project each with a value of at least ETB 441 Million; In all cases, the experiences shall be within the last ten (10) years that has been successfully and substantially completed (70% Completed). |
A Minimum Two (2) construction or upgrading/rehabilitation projects each with a value of ETB 1.892 Billion within the last ten (10) and substantially completed (80% Completed). |
