Our company Amhara Road Works Enterprise has an agreement with the Ethiopian Road Authority for the Construction of Different Road Bridge Projects

1. Our company Amhara Road Works Enterprise now invites sealed bids eligible bidders for services for general STD and HIV/AIDS alleviation and prevention measures for various Road/Bridge projects as indicated under item 4 below.
2. The Bidders have to present a Renewed and Valid Trade License, Tax Clearance Letter, TIN Registration Certificate & VAT certificate for the year 2012/2013 E.C.
3.  The service under these Contracts (Four contracts) consists of conducting information, education, and consultation campaign to all site staff including the immediate communities concerning the danger and impacts of STD in general and HIV/AIDS in particular.

The names of the projects and the service periods are indicated in host communities

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 am to 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. local time from Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 5:30 p.m. local time on Friday and from8.30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. local time on Saturday.

A complete set of bidding documents prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a Written application to the address below and a nonrefundable fee of ETB 200 (Two Hundred Birr). The method of payment shall be in cash.

Bidders can participate on either of the lots indicated above, and also can apply for one or two any lot of projects from the above-listed projects and shall submit their bid separately for each project they are interested to apply for.

However, bidders may be awarded on the projects under lots subjected to fulfilling the Qualification Criteria for individual and multiple projects specified in the respective bidding documents based on the Employer’s best economic advantage.

5. Bidders shall submit their Bids in two envelopes, the first envelope labeled as “Qualification Information and Bid Security” and the second envelope “Financial Bid”, separate sealed and the two envelopes sealed in on another outer envelope.

6. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Qualification Information first and Financial Bids of qualified Bidders next.

7. Any queries can be forwarded to our enterprise, Design Preparation, and contract administration core process, within three consecutive working days from the date of bid announcement to the address stated below.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of CPO or a Bank Guarantee an amount birr 50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Birr) for each project.

9. Bid must be delivered to the address below on or before 20 calendar days from the first date of advertisement at 2:30 PM The qualification information and the bid security will be publicly opened the same day (20 calendar days from the first date of advertisement) and the same place at 3:00 PM at the company Head office in the presence of the bidders of their legal representatives who wish to attend.

10. Our Enterprise, Amhara Road Works Enterprise, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
